Handling characteristics between wide chassis and a narrow one!

Wondering what changes are made to handling characteristics between a wide and a narrow chassis plate? For example recently Xray narrowed the chassis on the new NT1 2013 compared to that of the wider one used on the 2012 model.

Team Magic did a similar thing with the G4S to the G4RS...

Am curious, thanks in advance!

Wide chassis:

Spread weight
Increased chassis roll
More traction
Generally less flex
In my opinion more stable on large jumps
More weight configuration options

Narrow chassis:

Weight close to center line
Generally better in bumps due to increased flex
Less traction
More corner speed
Less weight configuration options
