Default Nitro rc won't start - its brand new never run

Got a new HPI rs4 with a G3.0 engine. Have had it start a few times but idles high, then low and cuts out in a couple of seconds.

I've got a firestorm which has basically the same engine but didn't have as many problems. Only difference is that my igniter was on its last legs but it still started but as said died

Could this just be a 'new engine needs to run' thing. Or does it seem like the carb needles need a change from base settings.

Richen up the bottomend first about a half a turn, then richen up top about quarter turn, also you may have to bring the idle up some because the motor will be running alittle rich, this should help when you are breaking the motor in, what percent nitro fuel are you using an how hot is the plug you are using?
