Rc 500
Any of you older guys know where I can buy RC500 parts or a whole car? If so let me know.
Thanks Chad |
I have a manual! (if that helps)
|
Did you try contacting Associated? They have a habit of keeping old stuff for a long time. Also go to The Starting Grid forum. All the 1/8 scale guys hang out there. www.rc-racing.com
By the way, where on LI? |
Gosh, when I was young I would have settled for the RC250 or RC300. Those were for those on a budget!
The RC500 crossover shocks were pretty cool looking. |
i have most of a car i'd be willing to part with

I think I still have a manual but I 'll check and let you know. Thanks Chad jiml I didn't try calling them yet. I'm trying to see what is out there first. I live in Valley Stream. Is anyone on the Island racine 1/8 or 1/12 anymore? Where and what do you run? Thanks Chad TrickPnoyracing Can you please send me some pictures. Thanks Chad |

Chad, 2 tracks run 1/12. Willis Hobbies on Willis Ave in Mineola. They have a small track in the basement of the store. Racing season is over, but they run practice on Saturdays.
South Shore Hobbies in Coram (exit 63 on the LIE). Huge track, good racers. They race Friday nights, but there isn't a big 1/12 crowd in the summer. All touring car. There are no "races" for 1/8 on the island, but there are 2 fun run places, Deer Park train station and Ronkonkoma train station. Nitro TC is more popular, but there are always a few 1/8. 1/8 racing the closest would be Edison NJ. If you go to the starting grid conference and go to the Region 1 boards you can gete more info. Their next race is May 22. Oh, I forgot Floyd Bennett Field. I haven't raced there myself. I 've heard mixed stories about there. |
