Hello everyone. SpeedWorld will be hosting the first ever American 1/10th Touring Car Nitro Championships.

This race will be held during the PLACER COUNTY FAIR
THOUSANDS of spectators should be at the fair or watching the race....

Friday Practice: Gates open @ 10:00am Track close @ 6:00pm.
NONE Race Entrants: Friday Practice - $20.00 if not signed up for this event.
Saturday: Gates open @ 7:00am -Practice starts @ 7:30am till 3:00pm. Qualifier starts @ 3:30pm
Sunday Gates open @ 7:00am - Practice starts @ 7:30am till 9:30am –racing starts @ 9:45am.
Saturday -1 Round of qualifiers
Sunday- 3 Rounds of qualifiers and Mains
**************5 minute qualifiers – ROCKET Round – Controlled Practice***************

* A Main - 1/10 American Touring Car Open class 40 min.
** B Main – 1/10 American Touring 25 min.
*** Lower mains 20 min.
**** 2 bump-ups (10 car mains). Rules subjected to change at drivers meeting.
***** A Main Sportsman class – 25 min.
****** A Main 1/8TH Scale class Open and IGT/GT– 30 min. Standard Rules.

Thanks everyone, It's going to be a really great race. I know the date is on the same date as the Byron's race, but it is a great opportunity for us at SpeedWorld to host on that weekend. This race is during the county fair and the fair is only 100 feet away from the track so there should be thousand of spectators walking by the track.

In the past years we have not had any of the racers race at SpeedWorld that have gone to the Byron's race. I hoping to get other racers from out of state to come.
I will keep everyone posted on information as I receive it.
Hotels and other information will be posted asap. I will get the information out to everyone in plenty of time to make plans.

this will be a great race and there will "lot's" of spectator's . previous races during Fair have always been really fantastic . can't wait for this !

I will have one of the host hotels posted tonight. It is a four -five start hotel. AWESOME PLACE. Prices between $99 and $115.00, two or 3 people can share.

I will post the second host hotel on Saturday or Sunday, it will be a little cheeper.

There will be a deadline date on the hotels to receive the discount, so please keep that in the back of your mind.

This race will be a contingency race for all contracted matrix drivers so if you have not gotten your contract returned prior to the event you will not qualify for contingency tires details to follow.
