Well WC001 went for USD 3,800! Incredible amount and all going to a good cause. Well done all. Shame it was a little out of my price range

Thinking of trying out 1/8 next season.
This car is 1 of the 3 cars on my mind. Witnessed this car do its thing at kissimmee 3 weeks ago.
Serpent definitely got this one right.
Xray RX8 is the other car on my list.
Why would you choose the 977 over the Xray?

I don't have any experience of the RX8 apart from I know the spares are very expensive and I've heard you need to buy lots of option parts as the car is not race ready per se as the 977. I run my 977 pretty much stock and it flies. Spares are readily available and the customer support you get at the major events directly from Serpent as well as Serpent America is second to none. Go for the 977, I promise you won't be sorry you did.

Not saying anything bad about the car but that didnt impress me as much as what Vincent jackson did in A3 of the nitro world cup a few weeks ago. If I'm not mistaken, it was his first time with that car. That was impressive

I was instantly quicker with mine over the 966-TE I had before. The car inspired more confidence and is much easier to drive and importantly it does have a wide setup sweet spot and reacts well to setup changes.

You are right, that was impressive. He drove away from some of the world's best and yes, in his first race with the car. It doesn't matter how you slice it, the 977 is awesome.

I guarantee you that this car will be faster than any car you have driven on your first time out. But the good thing about this car is that it will only get faster. Also there is tons of support no matter where you live. The RX8 is a good car but the 977 will definitely blow it out of the water.
