Best entry level 1:10 scale nitro touring
Hi all
Will be shifting to nitro from electric, pero di ko alam ano ba dapat ang bibilhin ko na nitro pang entry level. Already made a few calls sa mga hobby shop but really would like to get first hand advise from the pro's... baka naman pwede pa shed some light dito.
Eto plan ko... shift ako sa nitro, then practice, hopefully join scheduled competition depending on availability. Ano ba maganda na brand to start? or dapat ba yung mga RTR na muna bilhin ko or should go for a kit (meron kc mga mura'ng RTR sa internet). anyone ???
(sorry nga pala if meron na post na ganito before... did not have time to browse)

IMO hands down X-RAY NT1 racer for around $335.00. All you have to buy for the car is a frt diff, it comes with a locked spool. 85% of the car is a NT1 pro. shock towers and top deck are fiberglass. I ran the car all this year in competion and did well. I did add graphite top deck and towers, which I really did not need and frt universals and a frt diff, that was all I did to the car.

Sounds great...
XRAY NT1 heard of this somewhere with positive feedbacks. I hope I can find one here in Manila.
I will post again for feedback once I get my hands on the nitro.

It's called a NT1-R.. It would be hard to beat for the price!!

Get with that a Novarossi N12T1, a Picco basic or a Sonic stock motor.

Blunt honesty.
For an NT1...
Before the chassis comes into play consider you will need:
Then if you want to have it all...
So the best entry level car isnt the car, it's the whole package! Depending on whether you want to race or bash/play, the overheads and extra equipment used to run a nitro car exceed expenses of a chassis.
Best buy a racers complete kit that is moving on from RC or put a really good list of the items needed to enjoy your hobby before you consider diving into it unprepared.
Many of these items and other items needed for EP are often excluded from questions like these.
Hope I havent put you off...
