Default Bought a superten sized body... didn't know it was rare

I didn't know there was a 1/9 scale until I tried to find a nitro on-road car to fit under my HPI Toyota Gt-One body. The body said 1/8 scale, but its not... I have done my research on superten and the Super Nitro RS4 but I would much prefer to buy a car that was made in this millenia if I could. Any cars out there today that would come close with some minor modifications? I am pretty decent at frankensteining a chassis to fit, but would prefer not to have to buy all new tie-rods, front and rear a-arms, drive shafts front and rear if I don't have to.
I guess my ultimate question is if I was to buy a new HPI nitro RS4 with the shaft drive, would the Super Nitro A-arms, and drive shafts fit? What else would I need to widen to fit this body? (I bought the body first because its the only one out there that is even close to current LeMans bodies, as I plan to make a replica of the new 2014 Porsche LMP1 with full LED lights and model my own carbon fiber diffusers and winglets...etc.) Please help me find a 1/9 scale nitro on road car to fit! (preferably a new kit that can be easily modified)

Post the track width and wheelbase dimensions, then it would be easier to assist you.

If you got an rs4, the arms and dogbones will work bit you'd still have the length issue. The supers were a lot longer. You can find the hpi supers on eBay all the time for reasonable prices, you just have to look. I personally love those cars and own 3 of them now that are highly modded. If you need help locating some, let me know.

Love these cars as well. the "Super" class needs to make a comeback imo. Super Nitro Rallys are great, and there are still a boatload of parts out there since they share much of the same parts with the MT2. Don't really have much issue finding parts for mine, though the plastic suspension arms are getting a bit rare. (aluminum ones are still floating around though)

If looking new, the WR8 is dimentionally identical to the old Super Nitro/SNR. It is a 300mm WB as well, so it fits the Toyota body.

The only issue you might have is the front shock tower on the WR8 looks to be a bit tall, and the nose on that Toyota body looks to be low. Don't have one to compare to my supers, but only thing I can think of that might give you grief.
