Default Someone help me identify this car

Im buying this rc nitro 4wd car from craigslist seller only knows it's a hpi car and its 4wd and says it comes with a ford racing body. I thought it was the wr8 but the engine is on the left side on his car and on the wr8 its on the right side. Any help would be appreciated

its an hpi nitro rs4 2 rtr version. they were an alright car in their day but getting parts is going to be a little difficult being they stopped making them 8 or 9 years ago.

How much money do you think its worth.. the guy im buying it from is looking for 250 obo
its in good running condition with new tires cleaned fuel tank and cleaned motor

$250 is waaaay too much. Half of that and under would be more in line.

Beside that, parts are not that easy to find....

For 250 you can find much better.

The aftermarket made loads of hop-ups for the RS4 nitro back in the day. There's plenty left over. You should have no problem finding parts off E-bay for this. Eventhough they stopped making the RS4 belt drive, the parts from the current RS4 shaft drive should work (ie, CVD, arms, hubs, and knuckles). Have fun and don't worry.
