kyosho fw05t tuning help
 

:) hey Guys and gals;) , i just bought my first nitro car...and well im very impressed. But i have been fooling with my carburettor tunings and now have screwed it all up. Was wondering if anyone knows the needle settings or a website that has this info. Cannot find it on kyosho homepage. i think the stock motor on the fw05t is a gs15r (not too sure tho) as i bought it second hand, and didnt get a manual :mad: . Anyways thank you for your time and effort in advance, and im happy to answer any questions. thx

thanks. its had me search for 5hrs and to no avail, just want to get back on the throttle...and wait till i break something again lol. i have changed the setup for offroading bigger wheels different diff and its a monster.:)

ok, according to my manual, tighten the screw (clockwise), and unscrew (anti-clockwise) 2 1/2 times.

hey thx, hehe ill buy that manual ;) . nah i got the 17mb one from the previous link.thx. Do you love the pace of ur car? i love mine put bigger wheels on so i can offroad it, and its top speed is awesome now. Have you upgraded much? My probs turned out to be a crack in my fuel tank :( . Ill fix it 2morro , and ill post a vid of its speed onroad and offroad.

Didn`t really get the chance to see my car at it`s peak speed yet.
don`t really have to time, my engine`s still running in. so it`s still kinda running kinda rich. Just went for a run yesterday, had some problems with the gears. gonna bring it down to the shop to get it fixed up.

Will bigger wheels get u to drive offroad?

It`s quite hard to find a fellow FW05T driver eh!

just wondering, Roa4dbanD1t,

when u manually move your car backwards, does the shaft gears make alot of noise and it doesn`t move smoothly? i`m having problems with that.

check your gear mesh on the transmission and check the gear mesh in the ring gears(front and rear)

sorry, but is the transmission area the one that connects with the engine gears?

I have the teeth almost half worn out if not for an experienced driver who pointed and tightened the screws for me.

But now, after cleaning the car up again, i`m getting the same problem again.

Any thing i can do?

hey guys.. cant post vid at this time just smashed my fuel tank lol waitn 4 replacement. I hav the same prob when (reversing drive). Yeah im fully offroad now for a bit, jumps and all bigger wheels give bigger speed
