VERY NICE! I plan to get one Viper too. The Virtus is my problem, the price of Virtus seems to be too steep, considering the nature of life of an engine which wears and tears.

Believe me, just go for Picco power:
Xceed DS6 or Picco Torque.

will definitely consider those 2. i have a bigger problem. im from manila philippines. serpent distributor here cannot stock up parts for viper since there is no track here for 8th scale. i play in taiwan regularly. taiwan = mugen.

how much in usdollars u think i should have to stock up on parts if i order it from manila distributor?

no parts in stock in manila really scares me. i have to buy all parts at once which by the way i may not even use. thats the economics problem i have. if i order online, most of the time, the customs charge is ridiculously high.

Very difficult for me to say.....
Your question is very depending on your driving skills.
The car itself is very strong.
If you run lightweight rims, you will most probably break them in a crash, and save the suspension.

m7h,

This is the video for you to see my driving skills:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VPa2BBnhBA

lets assume i get all the upper and lower arms, plastic pulleys, belts, and center aluminium thing that holds the center pulley, front and rear steering blocks( the thing where the wheels and the driveshaft is attached to. anything else I need?who am i kidding...."want" is the better term than "need" hehehe

this video is in taipei taiwan and i will be using the viper here. fyi, im using the default set up here in the video except for the rear tires, i switched to 37 shore.everything else was ok except traction roll, how do i remove traction roll by the way?switch to softer orange springs from the default red?

I think that's about it!
The track is very open, with enough run of area.

I'm not a 10th scale driver, so traction roll is not something I'm used to.
But I would say go a step harder in your spring choice, instead of softer.... And harder tyres will help also, more camber.....

That is true.

There is only 1 track in Manila I know where you can run onroad and I tried to run my 733 there (JP raceway) but they didn't allow me cause the brand serpent is apprently banned on the track for some reason.

I MIGHT know the answer but I have a right to remain silent. By the way, I do not own that racetrack. either way, this will not stop me from buying, enjoying, running, and racing Serpent-The Racing Experience!

Of course I really hope that this ban will be lifted someday, but at the end of the day, I can only hope. I focus on the things in life that I can control, not the things that I cannot control.
