I meant windshield! use a 3x10mm set screw on the 5th body post and attach the body post to the steering body post (Look purple circle) so the windshield and not the hood will rest against the body post
also notice the addit tensioner, it's a broken front shock tower and the mtx3 tensioner, you don't need the shock tower just the tensioner, and need to bend more the wire, it allows me to use my original urethan side belt which is too lose for the 24t pulley, just for practice, when racing I put one non that used and removed the additional tensioner to save weight! the 3r 384 sp belt works fine also!

use the titanium pivot balls from the 3 prospec, i also use the prospec disk brake. other things you can use are the engine mounts, cvd's... and i think thats it.

also the prospec dark blue springs.

Take the internals of the rear diff of the mtx-3. and use them for the front diff on the mtx4. You may need to buy a extra front pulley. the original pulley is used for the front oneway. Also you can use the Ti turnbuckles. and the front steering knuckles.

In the words of Vegita...price of all saiyins, "At long last...I've finally ascended". Check her out guys! Took me about 7-8 hrs non stop. Everything went well together and I didn't need any modification except for one thing. The graphite tensioner piece has the wrong side countersunk! I had to flip it around and use the round head screws so it wasn't too bad. Good thing I had a box of RC Screwz for the MTX4 and MRX4 as the game of find that screw was kind of annoying while building. I'm waiting for the WRAM show to pick up another .12 motor to practice with, bodies, and if I see Mugen parts those as well. Enough chit chat...here is at LONG last...after years of craving and searching for a well priced used one, MY MTX4 .

Hi All

I put the 1.3 in the front shockies on the weekend along with purple springs all round and the sway bars flat, front and back. Ride hight was around 5.5mm front and 6mm rear for 10 min run on 37's. Was losing around 1.5mm per 5 min on the tyres. Smooth track surface.

What a difference the 1.3 and purple springs made. Car handled awesome. On and off power steering was a big A++++

The best the car has handled and did PB's all day

Had the car running on 40's all round for most of the day but it wasn't until I put 37 for the last qualifier and final, that the car took another leap forward.

All that is left is to not over drive it now and get more consistant.
