Looking forward to seeing all of you Mugen racers again at the upcoming WinterNats. It looks to be a great race again this year. Stop by and talk anytime. It won't be hard to pick us out. We will likely be the only Father Daughter team there. Just a few more weeks!!!

My guess (and hope) is Kyosho. XRay does not make sense as they don't have a 1/8 car... yet.

Whatever it is, good luck with your new ride.

Ur right. I'll let my engine run at 220 deg farenheit for a while. Just to let it settle a bit....then tune it to race temp

a commom mistake which wasn't mentioned on nitrokb.com is the brake travel of the throtlle servo..........

sometimes the racers make their servos travel too much during braking action, this causes the spring of throthle linkage to be fully compressed, after that, every mm of travel causes chassi tweaking and pushes the engine backwards, which forces pinions against spurs and then the 2nd spurgear is stripped up........
