sorry for the dumb questions but im curious to see what some mugen owners have to say
Josh, the only little niggly problem i had was the 2nd gear bearing was loose in the housing causeing the housing to move and strip a few gears before i found the problem. The other thing is i broke a couple of rear shock towers including a 4mm one, but since i cut the tops down on the body posts i havent broke another. I cant answer your side exhaust question i am sorry. Dont appolagise for the questions they are not dumb. Anyway how can a National drag racing champion ever ask a dumb question?

I have seen a side exhaust in a MTX3, it requires that the rear bar is not used and that some of the rear bulkhead be ground away. It also requires a side exhaust motor with a SG shaft. It can be done, but you mangle a perfectly good Mugen in the process.

Yes, the PRO one is more open.

The openings on the clutch keeps the heat within spec.
