watch the 2 speed end of the shaft because the time on your car it will start to expand not wannna let u take off the 2 speed gears. solution: file it down a bit.

most, if not all of the mugens used by the top drivers were box stock, except for small things. some drivers had rear blade type bars, OS Speed driver Hideo had Knack racing shocks and springs. these were the only differences i noticed with some of the mugens most (and it could actually be ALL) drivers used a 3mm chassis also.

even things like brake pads and disks were stock on most cars.

the prospec will be a pritty borring car if the worlds are anything to go by

I also noticed the revised belt tensioner.

Anyone else have pics of the car without the body? Looks pretty much stock other than the sway and new belt tensioner
Is there anywhere in the States where we can get 1??

I can also vouch for that, most of the cars were even using the stock springs. It seems that the box MTX4 with front and sometimes rear CVDs was what most people were using.

There were also the usual titanium screws, alloy hexes and the odd lightened shaft. Unfortunately I did not look at the winning car closely

you dont need alot of hopups just the rear sway and front cvds and at the worlds track i would have run the 3mm chassis.oh and the alloy hexes

the sway for the mtx3 dose not fit the mtx4 BUT if you mod the mtx3 one it will fit

I thought that most of them were using the 4mm chassis? Well i now that Simon Camalleri was using a 4mm and if not for some bad luck would have been right on toso's heels as they seemed to be lapping about the same speed in qualifying. Pity that he found the problem after qualifying otherwise it might have been a different race. With regards to the different head heights on the ninjas, it was for CG purposes.

just one more comment on people saying that it was handed to Mugen, fair enough Toso was untouchable but as the saying goes, to finish first, first you must finish!! My opinion is that is shows just how reliable the MTX4 is.
