Maybe it's the way the clutch is set. On a short-medium track I used 4 flyweights with a grey shoe when grip was good and used a 1mm gap for the clutch spring. When grip was loose I had switched to the yellow and had a bit more control over the car. On a bigger track I dropped two weights and let the spring out quite a bit, to 0.5mm for the gap and stuck with the grey shoe even when grip was not optimal. Not as many direction changes.

Here's a question from a late MTX4 bloomer.
Is the mid shaft inner pulley (not the 24t) the same as the main shaft outer pulley (the one under the manifold)? If not, what are their sizes?
Thanks.

This is more of a question for body, but I thought since I am running the 4, I would ask here. With using a protoform molded wing, on the mazda 6, what does it do if you mount it more forward or farther back?

the hard plastic molded ROAR legal wing has no dimples in it. The farther I mount it back, how far can it go and still be legal? (I have the book someplace, but just too lazy to look for it)

Good luck!

Good luck in Florida dude!

Hello to everyone,
Actually I have one question regarding the clutch in the MTX-4. My clutch seems to engage too late, and when it does, the engine is high rev up. Could someone tell me how can I make my cluch to engage sooner? It would be very helpful since I need to do the brake in of my engine.
Thank you very much,
Tomi.
