I'd get it..if I can like cough up an aditiona $260 which won't happen in the next like two weeks unless I sell my R40 with MT12 and I don't have another .12 engine. The MT is in the RC10GT. Even if I get $220 for my R40 there's still a lot more $$ to save and spektrum needed. Hmm...

I think you should do all you can to get the MTX-4 even if it means selling your body on the street, your wife and/or your kids on that black market it will all be worth while.
Cheers Daniel
P.s I dont reccomend selling the kids you get into trouble for things like that

Sprektrum Telemetry system. If anybody is going to put one on the mtx4, it took me 4 hours to get it all hooked up.
Not that it is hard to hook up, but there isn't any room and nothing that is included in the kit is usefull. The flywheel doesn't allow the RPM sensor to get close enough, the power lead needs to have a female end soldered to it, and there is hardly anyplace to mount the module.
I will have pictures tomorow. I got readings from the RPM of 43500rpm on my Maxx Power with temps at 195 F. and a speed of 52mph. This is a neet tool, but it isn't something that is "plug and play"

i bought a set of Hero's pulley, it was made and lathed from a block of steel. Compared with those i used for my mtx3(kawa's), it seems more long-lasting. But the price of these are much higher. I put one full set on my MRX4 too. This is just my feeling.

i ordered it from some model shop from Japan. It cost me like US250 included the front one way with pulley(one piece). I gave up my original plastic pulley from my mtx4. I do not know if it is psychological, it is more smooth than using plastic.
After my experience from using Kawa's on my V1RR and MTX3, i stay away from its pulleys. But for the other options, they are quite nice.
I am also getting for my 960 too. Since i have seen so many original option pulley from serpent, the lid which seals one end of pulley came out.

I got my MTX-4 to work a lot better now. It's much more predictable than before. The biggest changes I made were to change to diff oil to 50,000, raise the rear roll center to the middle position and lower the front roll center 1mm( add a 1mm shim underneath the upper arm holder). I still have a lot more things to try before I get the car where I want it but I'm happy about how productive my last practice was. This was on a medium size high bite track by the way. The car still wants to traction roll easier than my V-One RRR, so I'm primarily concentrating on that.
