I didnt mind the 3d, I just find the Futaba lighter and a slightly more logical programming sequence, and a lot easier on batteries.
The futaba fm receiver is the same size as the Hitech but i also recently bought the NEW hitech receiver which is fu^$ing minute
about 2/3 the size of the other and it was only $5 more than the standard one. I ve also got big hands and i found myself altering the trims accidently( bloody annoying) but yes the 3d is a good radio and hard to beat for the bucks.

Xgsir heres a photo.

Of course the 2PHKA doesn't have the features. Its just a good budget pistol grip radio set.

Damn, i was hoping the hump pack would sit somewhere similar to the V1RR i saw. between the fuel tank and engine. But thats with the K-factory chassis only is it?

Lets get this straight, I have a Futaba 3PDF retail $400.00.
I paid $369.00 for my Lynx, when I went to school the Futaba was dearer.

Oh really is that what they are there for
To put it into perspective Im 6'4" and weigh in at about 140kgs and wear size 15 shoes!
Now you might understand the problem with the subtrims.

Radio and Receiver only no batteries. Anyway Im not arguing the quality of the Lynx nor the value for money just the fact that I find the Futaba more suitable for myself.

On tower:
3PDF: 310.
Lynx 3d: 280 Aust - 392
Depending what other things u get with it, (Version)
Perspective on prices?
I rekon its personal preference, just like the type of car u have is personal preference.

But someitmes the budget throws its preference up2
