really it should not matter but most are set up trailing but used to turn them around in some cars to leading to change bite charactor

I finally got it to shift by adding set screws to the pads and adjusting the gap between the shoes. It shifts nice and firm now. Maybe they were getting worn.

My friend may i ask something? Why did you replace Roma with a Keep On engine? I am interesting because i am exactly at the same dilemma as you were about 21 or 25?

It's just a question of what do you want most. Great bottom end torque with still good top end (Roma 25) or good bottom end with killer top end (Keep On). You can't go wrong with either engine.
