What car to get? I was thinking a Serpent 710 or a Mugen Mtx-3. Please no other brands because my lhs dosent stock Kyosho, and Trinity.

Depends on what you want... Check what you think is the best construction and see the build manauals... to see what you like....

Note that the 710 is a great car and the diff's are easy to remove and so.. they really have done stuff to make that easy and more configurable...

the mtx3 loses some points in that perspective.. but, the mtx3 is also older.. i wonder what the mtx4 will look like :)

You really have to see for yourself what to choise!

yes i agree....but stilll i find the mugen 'although old' to be competitive;)

if u cant have a kyosho get a G4 mongoose or mtx3 prospec.
between the 710 and mtx 3 ill choose the mtx3 more easier to drive and durable than 710 a fragile car.
mtx3 easier to set up and drive out of the box.:nod:
