Hi palmaris Europe, this event is open to foreigners and should be worth the trip. The turn out on this event was decent but the competition from top 20 is the closest ive seen so far. I have to tip my hat to team Sky line, Ofna, Mugen, Serpent, Kyosho, Rd logics for attending this race and putting on a Driving show.
Darin ishitani was fast right from the first qual to the last qual. and dominated in the A-main for mugen.
Ron Calangi was on ishitani in the main for the first 6 min of the main untill a drive pin on his Kyosho RRR let go and had to retire early.
Paulo Morganti I though put on a good show considering the track bite was inconsistent and you have to be a local to anticipate when the traction was going to be high or loose.
His car was pretty good in the main but had some unscheduled pit stops that took him out of contention.
Ofna/Skyline drivers Jeffrey lin and Mark Cruz also had fast cars with mark going through trafic and putting in fast laps to take 2nd place. Jeffrey was fast but made a couple mistakes early in the race that took him out of contention.
in 1/8 it was the Chris Verano and Mike Swauger show.
with Mike taking the early lead but cliped a berm and rolled it. from there it was Chris taking over the lead the rest of the race.
it was fun watching both of them go through traffic with out lifting.
