Serpent Impact, first model. The 4wd is something homemade, to my knowledge this car was made from old 1/8 Sprint parts and only 2wd.

^^ it's defenitely not a home made 4wd system.
was told it was a 1/8 4wd impact, i found alot of very similar cars but just one that looked exactly like mine. (however no info on it was available)

This page will give you alot of info...

http://www.serpent.com/company/history/

It has to be 1/10th (not 1/8th) because of the 75cc tank...it is a IMPACT. It is the early version of the 4WD IMPACT but for sure those are not SERPENT shocks. Not so sure about that weave carbon fiber upper deck too...at that time, those are used by F1...not RC toy car I think...LOL

I doubt that, I do live nearby the factory and have seen a lot of devellopment and models in those day's on their hometrack As mentioned it is based on old parts of the 1/8 Serpent Sprint which was not sold anymore so in a way it was prepaired..... With the right belts and some creative mint it was possible to make it 4wd. Maybe there was a 4wd kit but so far I know not from Serpent.
