Is the Dragon one still around? Its what Mike Lyday used on his Kyosho, and Jose is still using.

Its around I think....

I'm just not sure which is the correct one to mach to sp2/wc. I know that the home made one in Washington is starting to sound pretty decent. It fairly matched up to the Kyosho one minus a few extra mills to lighten it up I think.

This chassis looks pretty good for $46.36 with free shipping is interesting. 7075 too?

Is this supposed to be made in the USA?

If so, it looks like a good deal, let us know more about it.

There are a lot of original GTs around and they're great cars, but many underestimate the performance advantage of the GT2 cars. Conventional wisdom suggests that longer wheelbase = less steering, but that's generally from people that read too many books. When you extend the wheelbase of a car all at the rear of the chassis, and you leave all the weight on the chassis in the same place relative to the front end, you've shifted the CG forward without essentially having to move anything on the chassis. A properly set-up GT2 will turn underneath a short wheelbase car and run more stable in the straight sections of the track. This is not to say that you have run out and get a long wheelbase set-up, but someone asked the difference between the two cars, and it's more than just the wheelbase, and the longer wheelbase produces results that many people don't expect.

Yes, I am still rocking both the GT1 and GT2. Both are the first generation cars with the blue chassis. The main two things that I have done to them was upgrade the ring/pinion gears in the diffs to straight cuts and upgrade the old finger-style transmissions to the shoe-style versions (Blackhawk in one GT1 and my GT2, the new Kyosho shoe transmission in my other GT1).

Default GT2

I've had my GT 2 for 4 years now. And still like rocking it up and down the track over and leisure hours.
