Having recently gained some spare time, I've ventured back into r/c cars. Started 20 years ago with a Kyosho Inferno Porsche 959 which I've just restored to original, and now recently purchased a Kyosho GT2 Race Spec.

Still yet to turn the engine as wanted to make a few mods and still waiting for a few parts - not quite as many parts available in the UK, however, plenty in the US if you can cope with our UK import charges!

Anyhow, thought I'd share my current update to the exhaust by creating twin rear system with an Onfa rear diffuser.....

Hi TerribleTy - Gladly, I'll post some video's when up and running...

Hi British Menace - I purchased the Kyosho GT Force Muffler set (IGW007) which includes the header with a single outlet but added a few 'tweaks' to create this setup...

This looks really good!
I wonder if this muffler set has any performance gain compares to the oem one?

A very minor bit of engineering was all that was required in the form of a small piece of ali sheet bent and drilled to fit.....

Performance wise? Still to be tested.......

So I have a Novarossi ISON .21 on the way and wanted to know what clutch and size flywheel to use for a starter box. Going to use my existing JP2 pipe and header but open to better suggestions. Thanks

34mm flywheel will be fine.

I've run a couple of the cars with the dual exhaust setup you have and they are really cool , but do rob a bit of power. Not too good for racing , but really street sweet.

The pipe header combo you would want for the Novarossi ISON is the 9886 Super Strong and the 41019-C header. This gives you very crisp bottom end and all the RPM your motor can put out.

Another option would be the OFNA 086 combo which is about half the price but you take a dent in power and its pretty thin if you happen to get into a good wreck.

If you send the ISON into Murnan Modified Motors he will reccomend using the top combo for the most performance in a GT.
