Mugen....I meant to quote the dogbone issue with the new transmission...The part above is what you need ...Its a perfect fit for the GT1 chassis...google it.. It has a dogbone on the tranny side and a universal towards the diff.. Might be made from Titanium...very strong and shiny !

I really wish Kyosho would build a conversion kit for the MP9 so we can be competitive again....smh....
If you want to send me an MP9 i will make a conversion!

Ok guys i am tearing into this thing and i have a few questions:
the shocks on the car i have are plastic threaded bodies, do they all use the same pistons?it has the brass slotted pistons.they are 12mm
how much is the stock kickup and what are the current C hub options? ie 10,15* etc etc
THe kyosho arms are not near as flexible as most which is a good thing the arm braces i am making will be 1.5mm instead of 3mm that should save about 40g or so as well as make them cheaper!

Marcus....I just seen your pic...They all use the same pistons...I dont have data on stock kick up, Kyosho doesnt dislose anything,( typical Jap company), they are no options on the C hub...but what I can tell you is the car was built (GT1 short chassis) based on a Inferno MP7.5...same hubs, arms, etc as the 7.5 and same basic suspension geometry !!..almost Identical except for shock towers and shocks...same diff axles etc...except it came with a 2 speed tranny !

The GT2 only uses the chassis from the ST-RR truggy...The GT2 race spec comes with the improved tranny from the Evolva and now has a better .25 pullstart and some minor tweaks...

You might want to contact the guy who started this thread at Kyosho America, he might love to help you figure it all out.

Its actually based in the "STR" chassis, the "RR" version is a slightly longer wheelbase truggy platform. Will try to make a few of the Forgass events to run GT again. Hope to see ya at the Fort!
