i don't think there is a commercially available dyno. RC CAR Action had one made for them so they could compare different motors in articles. However, its cost them something like $7,000 to make.

ozzyneo - not for me, for my friend at work. he said, find me one, and you can use it whenever you like!

thanks loosecanon, i thought id have problems finding one, though id just try and hope for the best.

Yeah there is one made by Holeshot Racing in the US. It costs around US$400 I think.

It does not look like you can use a rear exhaust engine with a header and pipe on this holeshot dyno. If not, what good is it?

Why not? Even if the motor gets in the way of the exhaust you can mount the header facing the opposite direction and have the exhaust pointing the other way also??????? The only thing I don't quite understabd is that EP dynos worked by 'pulling' a calibrated flywheel load, not sure how calibrated the motor would be?
