Awesome race, good times- Thanks to everyone who put this race on.

Guess I was alittle tired when I left, and left some items behind- can the Leisure Hours "Lost and found" dept please call me. It would be greatly appreciated. 816-289-1587.

Thanks,
Bill

Thanks to Byrons and leisure hobbies for a great race weekend.
Had a great time racing and pitting The Hammer in the Amain.
Congrats to all the winners and look forward to the MidWest series race there in Sept.

Here's a link to some photos from the weekend. There are additional images in the Friday post, also.

Thanks to Byrons and leisure hours hobbies for a great weekend of racing...this is the only race that will bring me back to NITRO...will be back next week.

I missed a major sponsor when I was doing the A-main sponsor announcement...SPECIAL THANKS to BSYDOR "BILL" for all the technical support for the whole weekend

I know I can't do that without BILL special help and motivation....I feel absolutely horrible after I realized that I forgot to mention him on the sponsor sheet......definitely careless of me.

But on the other hand...definitely a great feeling to beat BILL, I will never be able to beat him on electric but I know I can beat him on nitro if he get a DNF...I waited 6-7 years for his chance and he finallly get a DNF..LOL

Also, great to see JJ and Rick Wang again, and Rick's GT performance totally surprised me....I know it is NOT the SERPENT but I can't wait until next year so we can race in full 45 minutes instead of 8....

Good to finally meet Jlock, Jose and other GT racer from out of state.....the GT racing this year at BYRON is like a little NATIONAL or WORLD event. I am sure next year will be even crazier....

Need to step it up for a better GT car...Snake is definitely the way to go but I heard the XRAY is coming out something new.

Great weekend, thanks very much to Byrons Fuel and the Leisure hours crew for putting this race together. Had a lot of fun and was very happy to see some old friends and make some new as well.

Congrats to Paolo/Paulie and JJ for their wins, also to Chay Blount for his podium in sedan, my friends from Texas: Tony, Shawn and Chad for their great performance this weekend.

Special thanks to DJ, Kenny, Junior, Uriah and Tory S. for all their help and to Mike Liday for his great hospitality.

I couldnt finish the main since my flight was at 7, but was very pleased with all the testing I did to my new Xray-NT1, Im very impressed with performance, quality and durability, havent need to replace one part the whole weekend, and everything still looks like new.

Chad Kiffe
Serpent Cobra GT
Novarossi Roma .25
VP

I was out there to watch most all the mains Sunday. It sounds like everyone there had a good time. Those air-conditioned pits are awesome! I know it was a nitro race but Leisure Hours is also hosting the ROAR Paved On-Road Nats this yr in August. I hope some of you guys that run Electric too can come back for them. It can't be much hotter than it was this weekend.....can it? But even if it is we will still have the air on! Thanks for coming and glad you all had fun!

Thanks Rino. It was allot of work but at least Paolo had awesome results in all three classes for Serpent. I hope you can make the Novarossi Challenge in August at Blue Diamond, DE. Good luck with the new ride. Great to see you and Junior again.

Back home in Colorado, Man Nebraska just never seems to end after a long weekend of racing. Had a great time again this year Will be back again next year.

Thanks to Bill Sydor for the help with the car and pitting. Rick V. for pitting in the main (stupid glow plug) ..... Nice to see Rossi, and Rick V. again as well as my Texas race budies!!!! I always make new friends, this year racingthe GT8 class with papa Wang and Howard was about the most fun I've had racing. Maybe next year my car it will make a full 30min run in the B-main, or I can get the car in the A-main with out the bump up!

Finally thanks to Byrons for supporting a great event, Leisure Hours for putting on an outstanding event ............ Mark

PS Chad, pitting the 3rd qualifier for the A-main, makes me want to not make a mistake ......... Stupid Servo ..........
