serpent 966 spin when braking
 
I have serpent 966 evo, my car make spin when i use brake.my setup is good , camber and caster down stop ,and the preload shock is not same bcz front wheels will not touching the ground together,and the rear also, so i make the preload not the same to touching weels together to surface of ground,I dont have aproblem on the straight line , the problem only when i use the brake, my brake not so hard (EPA) ,So i cant stop before the corner.pls help my car is new SERPENT 966 EVO , and my friend have MUGEN MRX4 he have the same problem , thanks for anyone help me.

This is common with all 8th scale Lola body cars. Remember, the front has a free-spinning one way and the rear is a solid axle. When you medium to hard brake, it will lock up the back tires while the front tires continue to rotate, thus causing the spinout. You will have to very lightly ease onto the brakes to slow the car down or set up some drag brake so that you will get slight braking when going into neutral trigger. However, anytime the car has any momentum and you suddenly brake, the car will lock the rear and spin out.:nod:

The problem is you have too much brake which stops the wheels completely when the brakes are applied. You don't want that it causes you to spin. Decrease the EPA in your radio is the easiest and fastest way or back down the amount of brake you have in your linkage. Easy Fix!!
