Raye Field Has passed away
I'm very sad to announce that Raye Field passed away yesterday. "The Fossil" was a very familiar face at On Road Nitro events.

Many of us were blessed to have Raye as a true friend. He was a wonderful inspiration and I will miss him.
God Bless Raye and his Family.

Raye will truely be missed by us all. He was a pleasure to be around with one of the most positive attitudes on and off the track. Raye really enjoyed this great hobby of ours with a lot of passion. I will miss all the fun we all shared with Raye. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family.

Pardon my asking, but is this the gentleman that was always concerned with the top speed of his car on the straightaway?? Never met the man, but anybody whose concern is top speed and not whether he looks good drifting or some other non sense gets high marks in my book. RIP

I will miss Raye. He was great fun to be around and was the first guy to sit me down and try to explain a 1/8th scale clutch to me. He spent a hour with me showing me how to set one up and talk me through it. I always felt like I owed him for that. He didn't know me at all at the time either. He is one of the good ones and we lost him....

I feel blessed for the time I got to spend with him traveling to midwest races and hanging out at our home track. He will be missed.

What a great guy, He will be missed.
Glad I got to meet him and race with him in 2011
I would like to think he is making some laps right now.
