Pressure chamber

Hi Guys

Ive seen lots of pics of the cars that raced in the Worlds Brazil

Many of them had pressure chambers

My Q is is it better than running long exhaust fuel line? I have a pressure camber that came with a deal and i havnt used it yet

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Guys

Traj, the Nats are not till September. The Vics are next weekend.
Hope you enjoy yourself and good luck. A word of advice for Conberra, highish first and low second and shift sooner rather than later.

Umm you don't have to run a pressure chamber & long fuel line. What you can do is use a small one way check valve, similar to the ones use on fish tanks. You can located them at your local pet shop or at a Walmart. They cost about $4 dollars & there clear so you can see when they start to become less effecient from spent exhaust particals. Just remember to open the cap on your fuel tank when your done to release the pressure or else your carb will flood since the fuel can still flow.

I think the benefit of using pressure chamber is to equalize the initial air pressure going into fuel tank at initial full throttle. It lessen the effect of fuel over flow in carburator. Second benefit is cleaner fuel tank. Craps from the exhaust is collected first in the chamber, allowing only air pressure into fuel tank.

Nope, been there a few years ago, it's no bloody good mate. If you tune well, the motor will stall within moments of refuelling.

Hey RJL you coming for the NSW state titles?

rjl 02-04-2005 03:33 PM

Not sure traj, will either do NSW or SA, I need points for the World Champs 2006. I have a fourth place from last year but me thinks it will not be enough.

Also do you have a RRR? i thought i read somewhere you were getting one or have one
