Default Serpent Cobra GT

Did a search and couldn't find a dedicated thread to this fine car.

What do you think about the car and will you be getting one?

Let's get the thread going.

Pics are from the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2012.

Yes sir, I've been eyeing this since Serpent first hinted at it. And I think they'll have a winner right out of the gate forcing Ofna and Kyosho to step up their game.

I would've preferred a long wheelbase car though. The profile on short 1/8 GT's have always looked odd and out of proportion to me.

In any case I do plan to race one this summer!

I like it and it is a Serpent, so you know it is a quality kit. Any word when it will be available?

The Cobra looks great. I even like the new body. I prefer the short chassis and this car looks to be just what I'm looking for this season.

Nothing official yet but I suspect it'll be the exact same 125cc tank from the 811. It would make sense seeing a lot of parts will be common between the cars.

You can bet it is 150cc, they know that most of the rules say 150cc and Serpent is not going to get into the game with a dissadvantage. They were working with a truggy so thats what they would use.

In the pictures it looks like it has a 125cc tank.
