I use these alot. They should be able to help you out.

Do look out for the V3 and V2 variants on the chassis's. They are different.

BM

Just so there is no confusion, there is no V2 or V3 variant for the GT car. The V3 pivot system will not bolt on directly but you can easily modify either the pivot blocks or the chassis. easier to modify the RF pivot block. It is a mod worth doing though 2.5* rear toe is optimal in my opinion. Joe has been working on a conversion from the T8V3 and it is no easy task but in the end he will have a legal car for next season and it should be a very good performer. Hopefully the factory will follow suit.

Hi! No it's nitro GT8. Still haven't decided if I will use my GT chassis or the Buggy one. But I'm almost done modifying the buggy chassis so we'll see.

Yes the buggy chassis has kickup, which is one of the things that concerns me. Team C doesn't have 0 deg hubs.

If I don't use my GT chassis I can sell it to you if you want. I'm not 100% sure yet of what I will do but will let you know. It's got scratches on the bottom but I never crashed with it, and it's perfectly flat.

Makes me realize only now: I did all this season with out crashing, not even once. Crazy.
I did bump against other cars a few times though...

I can't see it on their site but give
hobbies4life.com

I actually just lowered the price on that...

If you ever feel like I'm overpriced on something, just let me know. When I did the mass upload for Team C parts, most of them are still retail prices, which I can do a lot better pricing than...

Hey Joe......
The V3 chassis.
Do you have a way of measuring what the kick up angle is ?
Also ..... I have the top deck battery holder etc of the V3 on my GT car now.
I'm interested in the mods you had to make to the chassis. I take it you had to modify the chassis to take the two speed?
Also.... Is the front steering. Hubs bell crank etc all different on the V3?

Thanks
Regards
BM

PS: I think Team C are going to be producing 0 degree hub carriers but if they don't...... I will make you some Joe. Although....bdepending on the kick up angle. O degree may not be enough!?

HI BM,

Not sure about the kick up, I'd say roughly 10 degrees. It would be awesome to have 0 degree hubs!!! 10 tor 12 degrees total will be perfect.

To fit everything on chassis, I had to move the transmission mount, the engine, and the Radio Tray. Haven't put everything together yet but I got it all ready to be mounted. I had to move things like crazy because the spurs I use are very big. I don't want to use the original gearing with eliptical pinion/ring because I did notice a difference in performance with the straight cut ones. You can now reach those same ratios by simply putting 17/21 pinions on your clutchbell, but it won't be as fast. Last year I had a 17T pinion on there with the stock pinion/ring and there is a noticeable difference. It's really on initial acceleration that you feel the difference.
Not sure if I will put the ball bearing ackerman bar yet since it will require to do some dremeling on it. I'm first going to test the car and if it works nicely I'll fit the RcShox Ackerman bar.
All the other parts are the same.

As soon as I assemble I'll post some pics. And I'll post some videos if possible.

In theory this car should work awesome, I'll try to test it this weekend.

Hi Joe......
Good work on the new car. Looks as though there's quite a bit of work involved. It will be interesting to see what your assessment of the car is.

We look forward to your update Joe.

Default team C T8 V3-GT

So I fitted everything on the chassis but the weight balance is no good. I had to move the radio tray so far to the right that the car is not balanced at all. To compensate I would have to add too much weight on the left side. It would do an awesome oval chassis though! Lol
So I ended up modifying the GT chassis to fit the V3 radio tray and toe plates. I cutoff the rear extention of the chassis, like it is on the V3 chassis. Balance is good too. I'll post pics in a bit
