300 oz plus is ok for steering, but high speed is also requiered.

I use a Futaba S9353HV in my brushless now, giving a clear advantage compared with the slower one I used before.

Hi guys, had my last race of the North East season last Sunday at Blue Diamond raceway in Delaware. Finished third.

Anyway, thinking of selling my GT (end of season sale) with an engine and electronics, as an RTR with huge lot of parts new and used.

Going to rebuild it this weekend. Feel free to PM me some offers!

Just an FYI on the good results with this car this season :

- 2nd place at manufacturers challenge
- 2nd place at Absolute Hobbyz challenge
- 2 place at NY State championship
- 2nd place at ROAR Region 1 championship
- 3rd place at Pete Johnson memorial race

Not sure yet but in any case most current parts will fit the new car...

Default ROAR REGION 9 GT8 RACE recap and finish 10/18-19/2014

The weather was beautiful all weekend. The track was a bit slower then usual on Saturday due to some previous week showers that washed the grove completely clean.

But that didn't stop me and my Team C GT8 from DOMINATING every qualifying round by a full lap!!!
I won all 3 rounds and got my first TQ in awhile.

The MAIN:

Horrible start!! I get tagged twice before the first turn putting me in 8th. The car was DIALED, by lap 5 I'm back up to 3rd pushing it hard to make up time and catch the leader. By the first pit stop I'm up to 2nd. I was making some wicked passes on every part of the track, I passed 2nd and 3rd (Shawn & Pablo) as they were drag racing down the back straight going into the sweeper. It was Epic. Having my sights set on winning and Chad in 1st and ahead by almost a lap, I knew I had to keep pushing!! The car never let me down by lap 56 I had put a big gap between 3rd and 4th, then I over take Chad and was back up to 1st!!

It didn't last long there was a big crash in the chicane that left debris(metal and plastic) in the lane. As I pass through I see shiny metal coming from under my car, I pushed through but something got tied up in my suspension and my right rear arm was locked up. The car developed a bad shake going into right hand turns, as if i had blowen a tire. With some time still left on the clock I tell my pit man to do a tire change while I bring it in for a pit and shake the car. Tire was good but car flames out during the stop lap 69 took over 2mins putting me in 4th. I get back out and car is back to normal putting down 20sec laps. I hold 4th till the end. Still a mystery what exactly happened, but that's RACING!!

On the up side I had a personal goal to get a 18sec lap and finally got one in the Main

I want to THANK my Sponsors for their support and Awesome products.

Frenchie was stupid fast on a really tough track. This is the first time I saw the Team C car and I must say that Joe and Tony both drove the hell out of those cars. Big Ups Homeboys
