TU01803 GT Front CF Tower
TU01802 GT Rear CF Tower

not sure if the rears are for short shocks or not yet.

We will find out with my experiment. Once the paint work is done on the new body I will line it with some aluminum tape. Let's see how well it holds up.

Team C came out with 47 and 43 spurs, thinking 43t/13t diffs might be a good option.

Those gears have been out since the beginning, I am still trying to figure out the gear issues you guys are having I have run just about every combo of engine and have yet to have a gear issue , the 40t second is the smallest spur. In Joliet i had one of the fastest speed wise car out there and i had 45/40 with a REDS 7pt.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...cfsdFYq8#t=190
No top speed issues here and as you can see the car pulls all the way down!

in this vid i was borrowing a Nova basic sport 7pt and ran 45/40 and as you can see the only car with more speed down the straight was Paolo and even then my car was SUPER rich because i didnt want to hurt it.

IMO if you are having gear or speed issues you are simply not running the right pipe/header combo. remember GT cars are heavy and a 21 really is too small of an engine for the weight. so trying to make a small engine pull via torque is counter productive and you just stress the engine more than it can handle. Pick a mid range pipe and short header (9886 nova, 2069 REDS) and let the engine make power up top where they are designed. I am now running the IGT8F spec REDS engine with 2069/XS double bend header and the car actually felt faster with the 41 than it did with the 40, I cant see even going with a bigger pinion, i will try it but I doubt i will like it.

With that being said the 47/43/13 combo is too much the other way according to Frenchie, he made a file with all of the current gear ratios.

I personally don't have a gear problem, just looking at or what to try different options. I used 41/45 all summer. Think a 17/21 bell will be perfect.

I hope you are racing at the IMCC cup in January??

With the reds engine make sure you get the 2069 pipe, it's fast........

Enjoy it mate

Hey Darren
Thanks mate I got the car on Sunday just gone and have been working on it all week, I got REDS pipe and header for my birthday it's the 2099 the same as Robert has. When I got Roberts for him Jay from Walters told me that it would be a better pipe as the 2099 give more better bottom and mid range. I'm going up there tomorrow to get my motor and I might see if he will change it over to the 2069 pipe. What the difference?
