Hi Marcus,

I have been pushing to have the GT class sanctioned with the Australian body, I produced the 1/8th GT rules and submitted the draft version last week. We were hoping to have the class sanctioned for our state titles held in March/ April....

Why don't you and the Team C guys think about coming to Australia and join us, I am 12 min from the track you guys can stay at my place to reduce the costs..

We would all enjoy seeing you guys race at our track if you or any of the other Team C drivers would like to attend let me know....

Regards Rob

Hey 1966, I've heard before too that that blackhead gave it to the virtue in the GT. But their argument was based on a short technical track, where bottom end performance was supremely relevant. But in your opinion and experience whats the mid and top end comparisons? Furthermore, how does the blackhead stack up against a Murnan Modified Virtus in all 3 ranges?

The virtus is an XL stroke engine so it should be really happy on a short track. I just finished modifying and breaking in one and it felt pretty good. seemed to have strong top end but midrange was not all that impressive. But I really didnt spend alot of time dialing it in, it really had a strong upper end curve to it. Once it gets geared right it should perform well , just not sure if its 700.00 good!!

Doubt it, no need for it! we are running 44/41 with the REDS engines and they are movin! the 41 felt faster than the 40 especially midrange after the shift.
