New releases from RCShox!
Final version of the ball bearing ackerman bar is complete!
"Finally here (well almost!) The RCShox ackerman bar cuts down much of the inherent "slop" that accumulates in the steering system. Not only that but bumpsteer is virtually eliminated as well as the inside pick up points altered. This results in much more mid corner grip and increased corner speed altogether. This is a must have upgrade for you track guys!

Kit comes with Bar, bearings, custom machined bearing spacers and hardware, everything you need for a complete installation!"

Lightened short shock towers:
"One pair of lightened shock towers. These shock towers allow the use of front shocks in the rear, add more front roll center adjustments and are designed with +1 shock positioning in the rear. The inside postion of the stock tower is eliminated and and extra one is placed on the outside, the new shock tower middle is the same as the old shock tower outside position. These shock towers weight exactly half of the stock towers!! bulkhead hardware is included (8 stainless screws) not the aluminum purple screws that are pictured. THE REAR SHOCK TOWER WILL ONLY WORK WITH FRONT SHOCKS."

The shock towers made a big difference in my GT... Love it! I yet have to test the Ackerman but I am very comfortable with my car I'm scared the new Ackerman may alter the characteristics of it....hmmmm

LOL, you can actually reverse the install if you dont like it, only grind off the top portion of the steering arm. the ackerman bar dramatically increases corner speed especially mid corner. It allows you to not be so aggressive with front setup. If it is too much steering for you you can decrease your front toe and /or play with the roll center positions.

Hi guys so I was doing some testing today and I used the shock towers from RCShox with the short shocks in the rear.
Having the same size shocks front and rear made a huge difference. The car felt a lot more responsive and was faster out of the corners. It also gave the handling of the chassis a more balanced feel...
This is in my opinion a serious upgrade, a must have, period.
