Looks like this car will be priced close to the Kyosho car. Another option for the GT crowd.

Finally after some small annoyances, the GT8L is built! Time to get the lid painted, get it set up, and break in! Lucky me.

Hoping to get some track time with it next weekend.

Thanks Jersey. Ha man, I wish! You'll be able to see it in action at Timezone though. So far, pretty impressed with the kit. But we'll see how it performs.

Finally got it all together. Except for long story short, for the time being it's sporting a Werks B7 Pro, and it's ballastic! Current race weight of 3588. Have some titanium hardware coming to help shave some of that weight, then I'm going to order the titanium turnbuckles as well. Anybody know where I could snag some titanium hing pins for the GT8L?

So the GT8L is advertised as having a 150cc tank. But after measuring the capacity a dozen times to make sure I wasn't going crazy, mine is only a 125cc. I had my LHS order another Team C tank in using the part number in the manual, but again only a 125cc. Anybody know the contact info for Team C America? I'm a little irritated to say the least. I really like the GT8L, I really like the tank design, but I need that 150cc! I would really prefer not to have to cut/chop/rebuild to make another manufacturers tank fit. Any ideas?

We really need some video of this car. This GT car is a nice addition to the class.

You need the T8T tank. This part: http://www.eurorc.com/product/1933/t...tgt8-fuel-tank

In Finland all cars come with 150ml tanks, I guess it depends with what tank they are ordered with from the factory as both tanks fit without problems.

Yeah. But it's been resolved. Team C said that the first production run of GT8L's went out with 125cc tanks. But they are going to be including the T8T tanks in all the new ones, and sending out replacements for the 125cc tanks. So I should be getting my tank sometime this week.

I just got a price quote from rcboyz.com. $579.99 plus shipping.... Wtf? For that kind of money I'll gladly give it to serpent for a pure bred race machine backed by a reputable company with actual talent. This is insane.
