LOL you know there are no jumps in on road right??

The build is done and i just fired it up, should be able to get to the track sunday for final break in and partial tuning!

There were some minor changes on the kit, the rear springs seem stiffer and look different than the ones i have, have not compared the fronts yet but suspect they are different too.

Make sure you send driving instructions with it. If "G" beats me I'll buy a kit. Looks too pretty for the track.

There was an preliminary information early yanuary:

http://www.rc-news.de/01/2013/team-c...ess-rally-car/

When and if it ever will be available is unknown.

You can DIY one. It can be done by shortening the long chassis. The new holes will not interfere with the old ones.

Relocating the battey mounts and a shorter rear center driveshaft from a buggy will finish the project.

Itīs not a big job.

just cost prohibitive, would be better to get all original parts/body etc setup in a kit than to have to piecemeal something together. I would certainly jump all over it if it was just $20-$50 more, not another $100+ in parts for a conversion, in the mean time I'll just keep running my OFNA, plus I will need to save up since I recently picked up a TC6.

Either case I hope the Rally is a kit and not an RTC <fingers crossed>

I think the Rally kit is about to be released, I saw some recent pix.
I actually didnt realize there was not a short E version. I know that if you already have a long version all you need is a chassis and rear center driveshaft (100mm). Next time i talk to Roy or Stephen i will mention it.

Finished Mr Grants ride this afternoon! got some really good video thats publishing right now. The car is really good, cant say that i would change anything on it at all, had a little bit of entry push but the Porsche body has a lot of wing and tends to do that. For break in i run the 2 spd loose so the engine isnt rapping down the straight , i was pressed for time so i didnt change the shift point but it actually felt better that way!

Vid link!

Marcus, that Porsche is PIMP... very nice, I'm jealous Aaron, I can't wait to see that car in person!

Got me thinking of reducing my front diff now which is currently 120K... sure would be nice to have a one-way diff for the front, I've really grown to appreciate that in my USGT.

The porsche is my body!! Aaron hasnt made a bid on it yet!! Actually after seeing it on vid i will probably keep it! Aaron gets the MT which is now my fav, i like it over the Alpha, which is also very good.

The TeamC difs build different than Serpent or anything else, The 50k feels like 100k on a Serpent (maybe thicker)

not sure if rear only braking would work so well on GT cars, especially with how hot you have to come into corners on the brake, but ya never know!!
