Serpent 747 1/10 200mm touring @Nurnberg Toy Fair 2012

Thanks Dan but again, how would it solve the problem? When you look at the pinions and 2 speed gears, the pinions meet the 2 speed gears at toward the bottom. If you raise the mount, pinions would be higher meeting the 2 speed at its bigger diameter creating tighter mesh. So I don't understand the logic.

That was my point. The only way I could achieve extra clearance was to enlarge the mountsng holes very slightly

I decided not to do it anyway since it fits to my 748 fine and I'm planning to run the engine with 748. It's just that I have local "not serious" race this weekend where I run 747 and figured I'd break in the engine while it's on 747 and then would change it to my normal "I don't care" engine to Ison .12 to run the race. That way when I go to a competitive track next weekend, I can save time breaking in the Picco.

Which mounting holes, Dan?? bottom or top holes in engine mount? holes on chassis? The holes on chassis seems to be only way to do it to me since any modification on holes on engine mount will greatly compromise the stability of the engine mount. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Not off hand but it is the lightest pack of that capacity that I know of.

Thanks. Useful info.

I kind of figured Xceed one would weigh less than my Reedy Life. I will get high voltage servos next time so I can use Lipo.
