Default what determines to add weight

Setting up my 747 for some local club parking lot racing going back to stock setup. I was wondering what determines to add weight to the chassis and what should i be looking for. Also what a good receiver box that could be installed. Looking to save my receiver from damage.

Default 2speed not engaging

So, I've been reading around this thread and I didn't see any definite resolution to the 2speed problem. I have the same 2speed issue. Can someone shed more light on how to get a consistent shift(setting, gap). Much appreciated.

Make sure the gap between the soes and bell is small without the shoes touching. Ast the bell can wobble slghtly account for that.
Make sure both springs are equal in tightness. So once you found a good shift point, screw both adjustment screws in all the way and count the number of turns, they must be equal. If they are not take the average and screw both out this average number of turns. Then recheck the shift poit on track.

To be honest, the new xli 2speed is much more consistent in shift point. So if you are in need of replacing shoes or bell, consider getting the xli6 set in sted, you will not regret it. It is a direct replacement on both 748 and 747

Swapped out to the xli 2 speed and everythings working now. Turned out the bearing on the 2speed housing was shot. Thanks again.

Dan thanks but using the kit setup the car has to much 4 wheel push I need the car to rotate more without the rear stepping out. I need the car to drive like a mod electric touring car

Try 200k front 40k rear. Are you running the 747 diffs or the 748 diffs?

Dan im running 747 diffs and i started with the kit setup 30k rear 300k front the car is ok but i expect more rotation center out. The car might not do what I want now but I will test enough to find a setup. I different driving style and I work on setups till I find one I like.

If you use these http://www.serpent.com/product/804277/ with these http://www.serpent.com/product/804278/ its going to make the car rotate more. Have you tried setting the rear shocks more vertical? You can also try putting shims under the rear camber link on the hub, 1mm at a time, that will make the car rotate more
