Is it possible to use a standart size servo? Or I need to buy low profile ones?

std ones fit fine. if you want to lower weight then go for low profile.

You are correct. The standard one works fine. I have no issues with either

Do they make a cover you can use for the receiver? I don't like the idea of it just mounting to the side plate unprotected.

The car is still relatively new. I've only raced it 1 time since I purchased it almost 2 months ago. This is a quality build. I followed paolo's set up for my track and tweaked it from there. The car handled well. I only had issues with setting up the clutch but that's nothing new for me. If you go on the serpent website, you'll find enough set up options to steer you in the right direction.

Some food for thought. this mod i think is easy and makes a difference think about the bumper scraping on the ground this will take weight off the front wheels and reduce steering of make the car feel yuck from left to right. this mod will hold the bumper up and stop any issues. Have fun.
Also this car rocks.
