Still waiting for a confirmation on 3 or 5 port engines for this race. Need to know in time to get one , break it in and find the right gearing.

You might consider using the new rule base for this race. Good time to put them to the test. There is plenty of time to adopt them for this race and let everyone know.

Blame ME... but it's in stone, sorry cousin. Dont you have a old Cox .049 you could drop in that heap of yours....Hell, thats what I am using.

I feel Ya and I would like to BUT NO... the event organisers have set the rules and I do not want/nor will I go back and try to undo thier efforts.. they asked the local guys if the old rules were good and we/I said yes. Many of the local and some of the travelers have already ordered motors and I am sure the track has ordered tires.

What about a rule that states.......
If said racer has already amassed enough podium hardware to equal his 'boxing weigh-in weight' he's limited to 3 port motors.
