Default TZGP FLYER

I would like to throw out a big THANKS to E-DADDY for the great flyer for our race this year. Thanks buddy for all the hard work you put into this for us, your the shnizel.
as for the IGT, rules finalizing them up today and will post as soon as we are done.

Looking forward to this great event and hope every one can make to our track for a super fun race weekend.

I will try hard this year to have some of our go-peds go karts running so that maybe we could have a TQ race off to truly see who is the fastest

PS it is sure good to be back home aftert a long out of town job for work, it is sure a lot more fun being out of town raceing then working.

So is this a Nitro only race? will there be a race for electric cars?

It looks like the rules will be the same as last year... Above... If there are any additional questions feel free to PM me.. Keep in mind I am not a decision maker on these rules; if i get a pile of people asking the same thing I will put together a formal post for all to see! I am happy to answer any questions that I can. Rules from last year below..

1/8th GT Spec Class:

RULES:
The rules we have adopted are a modified version of the Midwest GT rules.

Chassis: Any 1/8 scale buggy based shaft driven nitro powered car. (Any off-road conversion is OK)

Body: Any commercially available GT style body.
1. Wings and spoilers can be used if they are the original with the body and cut on the factory lines. Rear of the bodies should maintain tail lamps and can not be completely cut out.

Tires: Sweep 50 shore slicks are the "spec" Tire. Timezone will be selling them for $56 a set of four.

Weight: Minimum dry weight of 3500 grams.

Engine: Any .21 to .28 displacement “spec” style engine.
1. All factory installed internal parts with NO modifications.
2. Must be commercially available.
3. Regular price suggested to be under $200 not including tax. (Use Tower Hobbies, Stormer Hobbies, Horizon Hobbies or any other large retail store as price reference.)

Pipes: Any tuned pipe is OK.


Here is a list of "SPEC" motors that people are running:
Kyosho: GXR28SG
Kyosho: GXR28 (KYO74025)
Ofna: .28 Force (OFN52217)
Ofna: Hyper .28 (OFN 53220)
