I am thrilled and proud of the men who have the passion and vision to start the rebuilding of the RAMS Club in membership and standings in our RC community. Congratulations to your new move.
There isn't anything better than to race your car with a crowd around the track cheering their favorite driver and/or car. It is also fun to talk to new potential hobbyist as they show their interest in our exciting hobby.
I will be excited to talk with the officiers of the club when they set up a point series for 2012. I wish to see the club grow and hope my GQ Racing Tires (and other manufacturers) can sweeten the pot to entice racers from all over to come to the RAMS Club races consitently throughout the year!!
I can't to be at the first race! And again congratulations to the RAMS Club!

Is there no interest in GT8 in your group? I just don't see that class mentioned yet on this thread.
Congratats on start of new venture and i'm glad there is interest on the west side of these mountains we miss Las Vegas track.
Can anyone post pictures of track?
Thanks....

remember, Sunday the 29th, is an evaluation day -- We need to make decisions on what surface repairs may need to be made before our first Practice day.
COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR RAMS CLUB.
I plan on using Kimbrow's car for some of the surface evaluation -please don't tell him.

Hola Garen,
Fair with a chance of sunshine.
Couldn't resist.
We'll get a schedule up. We have two weekends a month available, but, want to schedule around the other active racing (including Sacramento racing).
We'll have to gauge the schedule around the turnout. I think (my opinion only) we'll race once a month and strive to put on a superior program. Might take us a bit to get some of the rust off, but, we will.
Personally, I would like to race with you guys (GLARC) at least every other month, depending on the National Major races.
Any questions feel free to call me 650-280-6095. I'll act as the conduit to get us rolling. Bill Wyatt, Matt Riddick, Ron Lau and Mike Shing are key RAMS members. I have spoken with Harry Hananuchi he's in as is Hollywood, Kimbrow, Barnes, Crabtree, Otto. We have a chance to make this go.
To be clear - I just want to have a sound, local, 1/8th scale race venue again. Not looking to exclude any other classes.
