yes it is the M Mielke Yokomo pipe which is just picking up popularity here in the u.s. because it just works a lot better with the new gen engines running more timming. or it will also work on the old long strokes but more of the modified versions.

Thanks, for the replys on the centaxes, everyone. The problem Im having is that non of the shops seem to have any of the usable centaxes in stock . I guess I will have to wait, I still have to call ultimate though, they might have it.

As for the pipe, I picked this pipe up 2 years ago when they first came out with it, and it works great on my Sirio. I tried it back to back at Rev with the RDL turbo pipe( the one hara used) and the MMielke pipe had tons more torque. At last race I noticed that JWG-Franni had it on his car and I was surprised, because I had never seen anybody using this pipe before.

Thanks,

P.S. The pipe is also a TANK, mine has varely any dents on it, and I run a tight board track.

Usually when I have Steve special order a Yokomo part, if Yokomo has it in stock, it's there the next day, and usually out to you the same day.

nitrodude you can use the mugen 1/8 scale clutch i can give
you a smaller fly wheel but 1/8 scale comes with pinions
closer to the size of the yokomo pinions and should space
out better than the mtx3 clutch.

Can you explain more about this ?, i have to buy a new centax too but on speedtechrc.com are out of stock (the centax and the engine mounts cause im using the old centax with not updated engine mounts) and steve wang are not answering my emails ...

Now, with the small centax from Kawahara for the GT4 (its in stock on speedtechrc.com) i will need an special flywheel and engine mount ? ...

thanks !

tabushi nitrodude acually the clutch looks identical but the
main difference is the threading in the gears meaning you
will not be able to use the yokomo pinion for second gear.

anyway i just spoke to Chris V. regarding the yokomo clutch
and he said they have a ton of the new version which i recomend
over the kawahara type centax. I recomend you just order the yokomo updated centax through steve @ speedtech because he should be back from his vacation and he gets the stuff pretty fast. Another thing is the clutch already comes with pinions.
and you also might want to check if the set comes with the
engine mounts if it doesn't here is the part# ze-600m

The mounts are not included with the clutch.

Its ok, JWF-Franni, I will get the Yok Centax, hopefully next week, but thanks anyways. Will I need different engine mounts for the centax? Or wil the stock ones work good? Also, I know that the centax comes with pinions, but which ones. I plan to run a 15t first gear, and it provably comes with a 16t.

Thanks,

Steven Muller
