What is the best.
hello im new as u can see from my name (newbie 9). I am going to get in two the nitro on road and i was wanting to now what is the best 1/10 nitro. Thanks

Associated Nitro TC3

what about the yokomo gt-4 or the mugen mtx-2? Thanks

I think the TC3 is better right out of the box. If you want to spend a couple of hundred dollars on kawahara upgrades and trick parts the mugen or yokomo are also very goog cars. I would buy something your LHS supports with parts.

since the start of the season the trinity reflex has owned the track not with just 1 guy it's a few of us that run it the NTC3 is good but not as good as the reflex

So far this year in California at Crystal Park an Revelation where alot of sponsored drivers race the ntc3 has won every race and the reflex is a B'main car. In Vegas the only A/main Trinity was Josh Cyrul and he could run a shoebox and make the a.

Being realistic for a moment here all these cars are great:
Serpent Impulse
Kyosho V1R(R)
Mugen MTX2
Associated NTC3
Yokomo GT4
You will have a solid base to learn on if you buy these cars. Get one which you can get parts for since as a newbie you will break things regularly to start with.
Forget the hype of which car is doing best at what track because at our track the MTX2 is the fastest car, then V1RR then NTC3. It depends on what track, who is driving, which country etc etc. When the next nitro tourer comes out people will be saying it is the best, etc etc. The Mugen is an older car (2+ years) and so is the serpent and they still have what it takes to win. Get a car from the above list which you like and you can get parts for.

food for thought
I would say buy what best/fit to your budget. Remember, you will not only spend money on kits, but also on radio, servos, etc. Start thinking of how you'd manage your budget to get all those stuffs.

hmmmmmmmm the best?!?
although I chose Trinity (they're local) I would have to say the best is whatever your local hobby shop stocks the most in parts, because the bottom line is, when you crash you want to be able to buy the replacement part ASAP, not wait 1 week for shipping
The NTC3 is a nice car, and as almost everyone can attest, they have parts for associated cars in almost every shop

I personally like the yok. My friend just got a Reflex and he loves it, I drove it and thought that is was good handling car. But when I really looked at it I thought to myself, this is a Kyosho V one R. I mean this thing is a spitting image of a VoneR. So if you choose a reflex or VoneR you can use there parts on each other. Just thought I would add this little tidbit.
