Can anyone identify this nitro?
 

My son and I found this car in the trash. It has no identifiable marking other than a few numbers on some of the parts such as 345-9. It is mostly aluminum with a bunch of hard plastic. Looks really old. It has an old Magnum Pro engine and a chain drive. Anyhow..its kind of a novelty for us and we want to see if we can get it going but the front end steering linkage is busted. Anybody have an idea on what this is?? I want to see if I can find some parts...but no luck so far. lol. Any thoughts would help!!!!

I don't know any info but this car is at least 30 years old. =)

No idea what it is. Might have more luck in the offroad forum. I doubt you will have much luck finding parts or getting it running but don't throw it away, looks like something the collectors would love.

It's a Varicom Industries Silver Fox 1/8 scale buggy, I had the Gold Edition back in 1987. It was a less expensive alternative to the Kyosho Vanning. It came with the Magnum engine. It was a cool vehicle, but I remember the chain always slipped off easily.
