Default New to the forum - Where should I buy from?

I haven't had a running gas R/C in a while and am thinking about buying a new one instead of fixing up my old one. I'm leaning towards buying an HPI RS4 3 Type SS, but haven't decided completely yet.

Does anyone have any recommendations on places to buy from on the internet? Thanks.

Dear B-Myster,

SpeedTech does have a lot of car kits and parts. Check them out. Better yet, they have a very good customer service. Do email them questions and you'll get answer almost immediately. My only wish is that they'll offer buyers some discount coupon

Best Regards,

eddie

if you have one close buy from your local hobby shop. you'll get personal customer service instead over the phone(cant show you how to do work on your vehicle without you actually seeing it) plus you will get comparitive pricing on most items.

You can also buy from Towerhobbies.com The coupon for the month of June is $15 off $150. Code: 011R1 No tax, but there is standard S&H at $7.99. Yike!

Hi guys,

thanks for the recommandation, I really appreciate it. B-Myster, if you're looking to play around, and not really race, then the HPI kits are excellent choices. But if you know you do plan on racing, then I suggest researching into brands like Yokomo, Mugen, Serpent or Associated for gas cars. We deal more towards the direction of competitive racing, so if that's what you're looking for, please check out our website

Thanks
