+1. I've had this happen to one of my offroad kits. Clutch itself was fine, but one of the bearings in the clutch bell bit the dust, which causes the clutch bell to spin with the crankshaft. Take your engine off the chassis and give the clutch bell a spin with your finger. It should spin for a very long time with no resistance. If it sticks, it's either a problem with your clutch itself (usually a popped spring) or it's seized clutchbell bearings. If your clutch looks fine, well .....guess what it is...... . Thankfully, seized bearings are a very easy and cheap fix (well kinda easy....those bearings like to really stay stuck in the bell. I had to get mine out using a hammer and a nail punch).
