That was from an accident. The piston and rod were`nt wiped out from thrashing around.

I've had one like. That convinced me to stop racing nitro lol. I use the rod as a keychain lol

Thats a .21. The car fliped in the straight, and while fliped another car hit it with WOT and broke it that way. I think it was in the winternats a coupl of years back. Lucky for me:D its was not my engine, I got that pic from someone here on RCtech

That's Greg Esser's engine, a .21 from his Serpent 950.

It's in my possession now, gonna do some studio photos of it..

There was a similar picture of Mark Green's .21 in his 950R too. That was in the Oct or Nov issue of RCCI ... he stalled and then another car just went into him a top speed. :eek:

Here's a shot I did of it when my lights were packed up, flash only, on black paper.

these things happen if the user does the following;

-doesn't tune the motor properly and runs it unbeleivably, stupidly lean!!:lol: :flaming: :mad: :rolleyes:

-runs a super hot plug, ie a nova 3 or 4 on a stinking hot day,

-revs the tits of it whilst it is in the air.


.........ot you drive it WOT into a low lying barrier and snap the case of like the second pic!
