200mm body
So, I've been looking around and no one seems to be making any 200mm Ferrari bodies anymore. Maybe I missed something but if any of you know where to get one it sure would help! I'm not looking for just one in particular as I like the F40, F50, F360, F420, and it's too new but also the 458 Italia. Enzo's aren't so bad either. I have found some discontinued Tamiya F40's but they're from overseas and are selling at around $60+ shipping. I can understand spending that much especially if it will be kept as a 'collectors item' but I do plan on running the thing and it will be butchered up a bit since it's going on a nitro. Also, If anyone has any knowledge of this, will a 190mm body clear the wheels on a 200mm chassis? I've never tried that myself so I don't know. Thanks

Most of the exotic replica bodies have patent rights attached to them. You can't replicate a Ferrari body and just sell it. You have to get a license. This is where the added cost comes from. If your stuck on Ferarri or Lamborghini bodies you'll going to pay a little more for these type of bodies.

lil-bump, I understand your argument about licensing products but HPI has managed to price a McLaren F1 and a Murcielago body in the same range as all their other 200mm bodies. The main reason the F40 I found was priced much higher is because of the exclusivity of it; it has been discontinued for years and still remains in unpainted, untrimmed, mint condition. If it comes down to it, I'll end up forking over the 60+, but not without a fight.
JLock, I tried looking for just the body through Kyosho's website but the way that site is set up makes navigating it a complete nightmare!
I've gone through so many different bodies but I refuse to admit the best handling bodies on my rigs are a Stratus and RX8!
